10 Translatory Motion Examples ,Types, Definition

September 22, 2023 by Needy Class Leave a Comment

First we have to understand that, basically body is always in rest . If you want to change the position of the body  you have to apply some force on that body. After applying the force the body changes its position and moves from one place to another place.

Examples of Translatory motion examples definition types

The movement of the body also depends upon the type of force applied on it. That motion of the body is many types in which Translatory motion is one of them. Translatory motion examples and types along with definition are given below.

What is Translatory Motion ?

Translatory motion is a type of motion of the body in which all the body particles will move from one place to another place uniformly in same direction without any disturbance in the change of position and orientation. Here Translatory motion is same as translational motion.

During the Translational motion all the particles moving inside the body in a parallel manner . That time the motion is called as perfect translational motion.

Types of Translational Motion :

There are different types of translational motion

  1. Rectilinear Motion ( When body moves in a straight line in uniform motion)
  2. Curvilinear Motion (When body moves in a circular motion uniformly)

Here in this article you will find different types of Translatory motion examples which are given below;

Translatory Motion Examples :

From the above discussion it is clear that in translational motion the body moves in a uniform motion and the body particles also moved uniformly . The Translatory motion examples are given below;

  1. Bullet fired from gun.
  2. Car moving on a plain road without any obstacles.
  3. Child slipped from a slope while playing.
  4. Motion of the arrow while targeting something.
  5. Uniform Motion of the cycle .
  6. Birds flying in the sky.
  7. Dots moving on the carrom board.
  8. Train moving in the track.
  9. Pulling the drawer of any almirahs.
  10. Motion of the earth around sun is also a Translatory motion examples.

Capillary Tube to Tube of Thermostatic Valve; Which Better?

Capillary Tube to Tube of Thermostatic Valve; which Better?

What is  Capillary Tube ?

Capillary tubes have very small diameter, the diameter of the Capillary tube to tube ranges from .5 mm to 5mm . The diameter may also ranges from 1mm to 6mm. These capillaries are basically used to reduce pressure and to collect the things securely. Let’s find out the difference between Capillaries and Thermostatic Expansion Valves are given below.

Basically the Capillary tubes are designed with a small and constant diameter that means a constant small radius, so that the Capillaries can be easily filled with the different types of particles. These particles may be solid, liquid or gas, these particles can easily enter to tube due to extreme pressure from the inside .

capillary to tube vs Thermostatic expansion valve

Uses of Capillary Tube:

The main usage of the capillary tubes  are given below;

  • Basically these capillaries are used in medicine preparation Centres or Laboratories.
  • The capillaries are used in industrial works and also in the households.
  • Due to small and constant diameter from capillaries to tube, the particles can easily filled up within the tube.
  • These are basically designed to collect samples in the blood testing Centres or in laboratory.
  • These are used to test the concentration of the liquids that are flow in to tube.
  • In refrigerator, Air Conditioners the capillary tubes are used to reduce the excess flow of the chemicals like CFC and other gases in to tube.
  • The main aim of  using the capillaries is to control the refrigerant that enter to tube should be controlled and used according to the necessity.
  • And it is very easy to manufacture the tubes.

What is difference between Capillary tube to tube of Thermostatic Expansion Valve ?

The Thermostatic Expansion Valve are basically designed to save energy and reduce the environmental population. Both the Capillary  and Thermostatic Valve work in a same manner all have the same work to reduce the flow of refrigerants or chemicals that are used in the Refrigerator or the Air condition.

But the main difference between Capillaries to  tube of thermostatic valve is , the Thermostatic Valves are designed in such a manner that these valves emit the flow of refrigerants when it is necessary. That means the valve opens up more when environment wants more and flows more refrigerants. And when environment wants less refrigerants to to flow in to tube the thermostatic valve act accordingly.

Conclusion:

Both Capillary  and Thermostatic Valve are very useful. But to prevent environmental pollution or to save energy, thermostatic valves are basically used more as it provides the flow of refrigerants to tube according to the need.

What is Translatory Motion ? 10 Examples,Definition, Types

July 30, 2023 by Needy Class 2 Comments

A body which is moving in Translatory Motion, move uniformly irrespective of the change in body orientation. So Translatory Motion is a motion in which a body displaced from one place to another place and all the parts of the body moved uniformly in same direction , here we discuss about type of Translatory motion examples.

What is Translatory Motion ?

When a body moves in Translatory Motion, it is said that all  particles of the body move uniformly in same direction that means all body objects move in parallel manner with each other.

what is Translatory motion defination types examples

Translational Motion is placed when a body displaced from one place to another place. That time all the body particles moved from its initial position to final position in same direction moving parallel to each other. So this type of motion is a translational motion.

Some Facts of  Translatory/Translation Motion :

  1. Translatory motion is also known as Translation Motion.
  2. During Motion all the particles of the said object move in same direction.
  3. The velocity and acceleration of the moving body is same till to reach its final position.
  4. That means the body in motion have equal trajectories.

 10 Translatory Motion Examples :

Some of the Translatory motion examples are given below; You can relate these examples of Translatory in real life to get more similar examples of the translational motion.

  1. Train moving in the track with uniform velocity.
  2. Carrom dots moved from one place to another place on carrom board.
  3. A person walking on the road irrespective of any obstacles.
  4. A bullet fired from a gun.
  5. A car or bike moving in a straight line with same velocity .
  6. A girl playing on a slope for sliding down .
  7. A ball trowing on the ground.
  8. Pulling the drawer of the table.
  9. Skaters while skating down an incline way.
  10.  When Athletes run in a track is also a Translatory motion example.

Types of Translatory Motion :

Depending on the types of movement of objects, the Translatory  is divided into two types;

  1. Rectilinear Motion
  2. Curvilinear Motion

Rectilinear Motion Definition and Examples:

Rectilinear Motion is a one type of Translation Motion in which body moves along a straight line .

Some of the Translatory motion examples that are based on Rectilinear Motions are given below

  1. Bullet fired from a Gun
  2. Car or train moving in a straight line

Curvilinear Motion Definition and Examples:

Curvilinear motion is a kind of Translation Motion in which body moves in a curved path. In this kind of motion , the movement of the body is fixed . The body will move in a circular path where all the particles moved in a fixed circular path.

Some examples of Curvilinear Motion are

  1. Athletes moving in a track
  2. A vehicle’s turning in a curved path
