BDS Course Duration is a 4 years. It is an undergraduate course. The total 4 year course is divided into 8 semesters. Each semesters having 6 months. Candidates have to qualify NEET exam i.e National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test conducted by NTA i.e National Testing Agency .

BDS Eligibility Criteria :
Candidates who want to join BDS Course must have to full fill some eligibility criteria. These eligibility criteria are prescribed by Dental Council of India ( DCI ). This is an under graduate course . So to be an BDS Graduate some of the requirements are given below;
- Aspirants must have passed 10+2 or Higher Secondary Examination from any recognized board or council.
- 10+2 or Higher Secondary examination certificate should contain Physics, Math, Chemistry .
- Mathematics should be one of the major or minor elective subject.
- Candidates should have Compulsory English Subject.
- The students who completed their school exam in NIOS i.e National Institute of Open School can also be eligible to apply for BDS Course.
- Candidates must have secured 50% marks at their school level. Where as for reserved category the students must have 40% aggregate marks and PWD candidates have more than 45% aggregate marks at their school.
- The age of the candidates must have more than 17 years.
- Candidates from out of country also eligible to Apply BDS under graduate course, if their certificate equivalent to the certificate approved by Dental Council of India and Association of Indian Universities.
